I have been embossing for Hobby House Hill since it was opened for business in 2006. Having embossed thousands of lines on numerous types of albums, I have gained valuable experience and mastered many different techniques that allow me to emboss albums that others won’t touch: Creative Memories Denim and Picfolio albums, Chip Board albums, and We R Memory Keepers vinyl albums to name just a few.
All work is done on site while you are at Hobby House Hill. Placement can be just about anywhere you want on the front, back, or spine of most albums. And don’t worry; I do a sample for your approval before embossing your album. If you have other album covers you would like embossed, bring them along (minus the pages) and I will do them for you while you are enjoying your stay.
Some albums simply do not emboss well. Sandylion Disney albums won’t take an imprint, Creative Memory Tapestry albums have too rough a texture, and Pioneer albums have corrugated cardboard fillers and won’t emboss evenly. Stampin’ Up linen albums have a Teflon coating that won’t let the color foil stick to the surface, but I can stamp the linen fibers to leave an impression on the cover. Other albums have such a decorative or colorful design that the embossing is lost in the background. For cases like these, I have plates that can be embossed and applied to your album in just about any position that you want. Anything that you want embossed on your albums can also be embossed on a plate. The plates are made of Mylar and have a strong adhesive on the back. Once adhered to the surface of the album, the bond only gets stronger with time.
So, when you visit Hobby House Hill, keep me in mind for all your embossing needs. Follow the link to my order form to see examples of the fonts, graphics, and colors that I have available.
I look forward to enhancing your memories.
