Hobby House Hill can accommodate a total of 26 guests.
We have two workrooms: the CABIN and the BARN.
The CABIN has space for one group of 11 or two smaller groups of 5 and 6.
The BARN has space for one group of 15 or two smaller groups of 7 and 8.
We also welcome smaller groups and singles to help fill in with other groups.

LIKE our Facebook page to be updated when single or small openings are available.
Our hobby work space for each guest includes your very own 6-foot table with a 4-foot shelf and a 3 tier rolling cart.
Task chairs with lumbar support, pneumatic levers and adjustable height will keep you comfortable all weekend long.
Drink holders at each table will keep accidental spills down to a minimum.
Natural lighting and overhead daylight lights are abundant in each work room.
For our Quilters in the BARN, we have an additional room equipped with an ironing table, cutting table and 8 large Design Walls.
Cozy overnight accommodations at our retreat center offer comfortable separate twin beds. Bathrooms are separate from your rooms for uninterrupted sleeping accommodations.
We never ask you to share your private sleeping quarters with anyone you don’t know unless you are filling in spaces for a larger group. All groups will work, eat and sleep together.
Careful attention to detail has been made in both our amenities and décor to make sure your stay with us will want you coming back again and again.
Our wonderful meals feature freshly-prepared entrees. Your three day/two night retreat will include 7 meals and a 24-hour dessert bar throughout your stay. The beverage bar provides coffee, hot and cold teas, hot chocolate, soft drinks and filtered water.

A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR HOSTS AND HHH HISTORY

Di Anna and Dan Hull are the owners of Hobby House Hill. They come from the DFW metroplex. Dan is a retired Marine, and a former IT director in Dallas. Di Anna is a recently retired homeschool mom of 5 children but that hasn't kept her from pursuing her creative passions of Stampin' Up!, scrapbooking and quilting along the way. Kristin, one of Dan and Di Anna's daughters is now working on the Hill as well. She is a culinary graduate and is a wonderful addition to the Hobby House Crew! She will be your Hostess if you are here on a weekend.

Cindy and Paul Dauer, the founders of Hobby House Hill opened HHH and began hosting in 2006. Cindy had a wonderful vision of creating a scrapbooking/quilting retreat that was like being at home, only better (no chores)! Cindy and Paul decided to step away from hosting at HHH, to enjoy the retired life. In 2018 they sold HHH to Di Anna and Dan and moved two doors down. Cindy is still working on Thursdays with us and runs our weekday retreats. She is known to frequently stop by to catch up with old friends.

Di Anna, Cindy, Kristin, Dan and Paul have all forged a wonderful friendship and working relationship. The goal throughout the owner transition has been to maintain the vision of providing a “Home away from Home” for our guests.

I recommend everything!
The accommodations for sleeping and cropping are fantastic. Very comfortable!
I've never had a bad meal at HHH. Always something to snack on also.
A must go if you enjoy spending time with the ladies, quilting, card making, scrapbooking or whatever your hobby. And you don't lift a finger.

They treat you like family. HHH is camp for women. You get to relax, eat excellent food, take naps, watch movie, and work on your favorite hobby. We as women must take care for ourselves. HHH is the best place to recharge your batteries. Can’t wait to go back as soon as possible!

The place is amazing. The food is spectacular. It's like doing your hobby and going to a spa. They offer massages, they they have a Jacuzzi. There's a great place to Lounge in and the beds are extremely comfortable. The people that run the place are so personable and pleasant. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment as your go-to place for any type of group retreats.

I just wanted to let you know what a beautiful and peaceful place you have. Your catering to us was EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend your place to anyone. I had such a wonderful time I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful experience. Donna B.
